What folks are you following that you feel are positively impacting the built environment in their own way?

Well, mostly I follow some folks that I think can keep me up to dated thanks to the way they are exploring/building/communicating. I can make few names:

  • Alex Columbe - an Architect that now is totally working on XR Architecture and on all related topics to virtual reality/3D modeling/Innovative software use, in Architecture.

  • @IamSuperMassive - That is a content creator that fully explores the web3 environment continuously with an excellent and surprising communication.

  • @Passageio - a company that I follow closely for the valid team behind with the aim to allow creators to build and connect virtual and physical experiences. IBC, and UE5.

  • @PierreRider - an interesting VR Design Studio - Virtual Architecture that I follow for some good hints and projects.

What’s the most common thing you hear from your users or clients?

The need for them to receive something unique and can help them to reach their targets in a creative and innovative way, maybe sometimes not so clear about what to ask for what they have in mind, but surely something that wants to capture attention and be distinguishable.

Any advice for a building owner trying to understand digital transformation?

Well, I think that has to be communicated in a smart way as a tool that is evolving and to explore it, that can only helps efficiency and drastically improve quality and real-time control of the project, giving the opportunity to choose the best for present and future of it. Saving money time and energy and allow a wonderful way to present and intervene on the whole design process. Necessary.

What’s something you believe that no one else seems to believe?

That you can stop being a robot-designer that struggle with everyday life project/software/submissions issues and let the digital transformation helps you being more creative and focused, exploring the design in the best way possible thanks to the great data that you can collect about everything that a project need! (materials/mobility/environmental data/technical standards/community behaviors and needs/territory).

And....that communication is fundamental for sharing with collegues and grow, and with the external audience.

What’s been your biggest issue with design technology to date?

That the entire management of a project is so old, slow and intricate. Sometimes unachievable and not absolutely focused on what is really needed.

The absolute lack of matching supply and demand.

A book that’s shaped your work or industry philosophy?

  • Introduction to Architecture by Francis D. K. Ching

  • Re_Cyclical Urbanism

  • Dross City

How do you describe what you do to a 5 year old?

I work to make drawings and create beautiful digital models with my laptop to develop the spaces and the buildings around us.

What's a project that's been keeping you busy?

A variety of 3D modeling projects for virtual UE5 purpose/graphic communication designs and gaming built environment designs, every detail is so important and it's going to impact on the whole process that starts from initial idea to final texturing and rendering.

Something LinkedIn doesn’t know about you?

A lot of things I would say! I could not live without music.

I'm always busy with work but always find the time for sports and friends. I love following football and I'm curious about EVERYTHING.
